Snakes in Goa
Goa has over 30 snake species, including the most venomous ones like the Indian cobra, saw-scaled viper, and Russell’s viper, sighted throughout the state. The largest snake in Goa is the king cobra measuring between 10 and 12 feet or even a maximum of 18 feet. On the other hand, the smallest snake is the Brahminy blind snake, around 4.5 – 6.5 inches long.
